VOLTA MINUTE REPEATING & CHRONOGRAPH Volta (Maurice Ditisheim, La Chaux-de-Fonds), 'Repétition à Minutes Chronographe Compteur', No. 24574. Made circa 1910. Fine, large, minute-repeating, 18K yellow gold hunting- cased, keyless pocket watch with chronograph and register.

Four body, "bassine", polished. Hinged gold cuvette, decorated with medals awarded in different exhibitions. White enamel with Arabic numerals, outer minutes and fifths of a second divisions, subsidiary seconds at 9, 30-minute register at 3. Gold Breguet hands. 48 mm., 21''', frosted gilt brass, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a push piece in the band, centrifugal governor, chronograph with visible work, push piece in the band at 4 o'clock. Cuvette and case signed.
