WALTHAM CHRONOGRAPH STEEL Waltham, case No.311122. Made in 1970s. Very fine and rare, tonneau-shaped, manual-winding, water resistant, anti- magnetic, stainless steel wristwatch with chronograph.
Two-body, polished and brushed, graduated revolving bezel, screwed-down case back. Bi-color white and black with applied steel baton indexes, luminous dots, outer 1/5th seconds scale and tachymeter to 500 units per hour, sunk subsidiary for the seconds and the 30-minute registers. Luminous, red and white painted baton hands, and red painted chronograph center second hand. Cal.7733, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorbers, self-compensating flat balance spring, index regulator.
