According to Zenith, the 40T caliber constitutes a revised version, mainly produced between 1958 and 1963 of the highly precise Zenith caliber 40, enhanced in the case of the “T” version with a lighter annular (screwless) balance wheel, a mobile balance-spring stud holder, special bushing for the center arbor and a double arrow index regulator.
