Zenith, Swiss, "Grand Prix de Paris 1900", No. 199372, circa 1900. Very fine 18 ct. two coloured gold, hunting cased, keyless, minute repeating "grande sonnerie" carillon clock-watch with three hammers, in original mahogany fitted box.
C. Four body, massive, "bassine" engine-turned with alternate white and yellow gold strips, band and borders engraved with a floral decoration. Gold cuvette. D. Three piece, white enamel with Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel " spade" hands. M. 19"', gilt brass, double train with differential winding 29 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Striking and repeating on three gongs with three hammers, with push-piece in the band, Strike/silent optional lever on the bezel's border. Signed on the dial, case and movement. In very good condition. Diam. 54 mm.
