Black Marble Desk Clock Zenith, Le Locle. Made circa 1940. Fine and unusual, black and white veined marble and brass eight-day going desk clock, set and wound by the bezel.
C. Circular base, surmounted by a brass semi-circle holding the ball case by two hinges. D. Black, with bold white Arabic numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. White hands. M. 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic compensation balance with screws, blued steel Breguet balance, index regulator, bezel winding and hand-setting. Dial signed. Height 150 mm.
