Zenith Carillon Grande Sonnerie and Minute-Repeating Clockwatch Zenith, case No. 099900. Made circa 1910. Fine and very rare, trip minute-repeating, 14K rose gold, hunting-cased, keyless, two-train, carillon Grande Sonnerie clockwatch with three hammers and three gongs.
C. Four body, "bassine", polished. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with the technical details and prize medals. D. White enamel, dauphine numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 20"', rhodium-plated, double train with differential winding, 30 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring with overcoil, index regulator, striking the hours and quarters on three gongs with three hammers, centrifugal governor between the dial and dial plate, Silence/Sonnerie selection lever on the bezel border, repeating activated by a trip push-piece in the band. Dial case, cuvette and movement signed. Diam. 55 mm.
