Zenith Carillon Grande Sonnerie and Minute-Repeating Clockwatch Attributed to Zenith, No. 4253. The case with London import marks for 1912-13. Fine and very rare, trip minute-repeating, 18K yellow gold, keyless, two-train, carillon Grande Sonnerie clockwatch with three hammers and three gongs.

C. Four-body, "bassine", polished. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel spade hands. M. 18"', frosted gilt, two-train with differential winding, 27 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, striking the hours and quarters on three gongs with three stacked hammers, Silence/Chime selection lever on the bezel border, repeating activated by a trip push-piece in the band. Case and dial plate punch numbered 4253. Diam. 49 mm.
