Hamilton Watch Co., U.S.A., Model 4992B, movement No. 4C131287. Made
for the U.S. Government in circa 1943. Fine and very rare, chromium plated
nickel, keyless military pocket watch with indirect center seconds, 24-hour
dial, Hamilton balance, hack mechanism.
B: ZENITH MILITARY POCKET WATCH
Zenith, movement No. 3282497, case No. 8341236. Made for the British
Government in the early 1940s. Fine and very rare, sterling silver, keyless
military pocket watch with indirect center seconds.

C. Three-body, bassine et fi lets, reeded bezels, transparent case back,
screw down bezel and back, engraved bow. D. Black with printed 24-hour
Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions with Arabic fi ve-second markers.
Blued steel and white spade and lozenge hands. M. Rhodium-plated, halfplate,
fausses cotes decoration, 22 jewels, straight-line lever escapement,
Hamilton monometallic balance with screws and adjusted to temperature
and six positions, Elinvar self-compensating Breguet balance spring,
swan-neck micrometer regulator, fl exible spring for hack mechanism.
Movement signed. Diam. 52 mm. Thickness 18 mm.

C. Three-body, bassine et fi lets, reeded bezels, screw down bezel and
back, case back with engraved military markings: H.S.3 and arrow. D. Ivory
color with concentric printed Arabic numerals, outer red minute divisions
with Arabic fi ve-second markers, most outer 1/10th of a second track with
10-second Arabic markers. Black feuille hour and red double spade minute
hand. M. Cal. 19-34-3-T, gilt brass, 3/4-plate, 17 jewels, straight-line lever
escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet
balance spring, micrometer regulator.
Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 51 mm. Thickness 17 mm.
