ZENITH MINIATURE CLOCK ? MOONLIT RIVER Zenith, Swiss, movement No. 148124, case No. 2329. Made circa 20. Fine and rare, silver and enamel desk clock. Accompanied by the original fitted box.

C. Two-body, rectangular, arch-top, the body overlaid with gray enamel with white raised decoration, silver bezel, hinged back door. D. Painted and guilloche enamel with a scene of a river bank in the moonlight, white baton and dot indexes. Gold spade hands. M. 34 x 26 mm, rectangular gilt-brass, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Case signed. Dim. 50 x 30 x 18 mm.
