Notes

DIM. 12 x 10.7 cm., DIAM. of watch 71 mm. This model of table or desk clock with chronograph was apparently supplied for use by the Swiss Postal Service Directorate and was a popular office clock. The strong, clean and elegant design with oversized chronograph makes this clock a highly desirable vintage piece that fits perfectly within a modern setting. A very similar clock is illustrated and described in "Zenith, Watch Manufacture Since 1865", Manfred Rössler, 2009, p. 296. Another identical clock (No. 5036800) was sold by Antiquorum, Geneva, November 10, 2013, lot 279.
