ZENITH COMPUR CHRONOGRAPH POCKET WATCH STEEL Zenith, Le Locle, Compur, case No. 574635. Made circa 1940. Fine and rare, stainless steel Staybrite, keyless dress watch with chronograph, tachometer, telemeter and instantaneous 45-minute registers.

Three-body, polished and brushed, inclined bezel, snap-on back. Silvered with applied steel baton indexes, outer minutes and fifths of a second numerals, outermost blue telemeter scale calculated for 1000 meters, blue inner tachometer scale, subsidiary dials for seconds, 45-minute registers. Steel lozenge hands. 32mm. nickel-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance with timing screws, Breguet balance spring, index regulator, chronograph with visible work, push pieces on each side of the pendant.
