Chromium-plated metal, open-face, keyless-winding, round-shaped, watch incorporated in the painted metal steering-wheel of a Swiss post bus, with winding (anti clock-wise) and setting bezel; silver colour dial with luminescent suspended Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6 and one horological complication:
• 8-day power-reserve indication (aperture at 12 o’clock)

The Fabrique d’Appareils de Précision et compteurs (precision instruments and counters manufactory) Emile Eigenheer (EFAP) is located in Corcelles, near Neuchâtel, at 1, place de la Gare. Until the mid-1950s, it supplied automobile accessories, watches and other odometers, in particular clocks mounted on the steering-wheels of Swiss post buses; the movements were supplied by the Zenith factory in Le Locle. Its logo “EFAP” is a registered trademark in Switzerland.
