· Quarter-repeater by two hammers on two steel gongs (activated by the slide located on the case-band at 6 o’clock)
· 1/5 second chronograph (activated by the single rectangular push-piece located on the edge of the bezel at 6 o’clock), with outer ring
· Instantaneous perpetual calendar
· Retrograde (fly-back) date of the month (half-circle graduation at 12 o’clock with index)
· Day of the week (subsidiary dial at 8 o’clock; indications given in Spanish)

Very fine and rare, in 18K yellow gold, open-face, keyless-winding, roundshaped, pocket chronometer with subsidiary seconds at 6. Movement based on the Swiss invention patent No. 31 052, delivered on May 24, 1904, to George Marin Grandjean, Genève (former Director of the Ancienne fabrique Vacheron et Constantin, Société Anonyme), for a “Dispositif perfectionné pour la manoeuvre de la raquette.” (Improved device for the manoeuvring of a regulator). The Extract from the Archives, dated November 10, 1994, mentioned that this movement was made in 1919 and sold in 1920. The movement was completed in 1919 and delivered on April 12, 1920, to Shreve & Co., New York (U.S.A.).
