Patek Philippe & Cie, Genève, No. 198207, case No. 608751, circa 1924. Extremely fine and probably unique, tonneau shaped, 18ct white gold gentleman's wristwatch with single button chronograph on the crown, and register with certificate.

C. massive, satined, bevelled bezel. D. mat silver with applied white gold Breguet numerals + auxiliary seconds and 30 minutes register vertical dials. "Spade" white gold bands. M. 13 "' rhodiumed, "fausses côtes" decoration, 28 jewels, lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance adjusted to heat, cold isochronism and 5 positions, selfcompensating Breguet balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. In excellent condition. Dim. 39 x 42 mm.

Notes

Produced in circa 10 examples only in the 1920's, it is the only model known to exist in white gold. A similar watch but in yellow gold, was sold by Antiquorum in November 1994 in Milano, a other is published in Pater Philippe-wristwatches, p. 206.
