Unique half plate fusee movement with a very unusual mixed lever detent escapement, circa 1880. Without dial, in a later case. This unique experimental escapement is mainly based on the principle of a Robin. However, the lever has no fork but uses two passing springs, engaged by a sapphire wedge roller. In this escapement drawn from the Robin detent-lever, with direct impulse of the 'scape wheel on the balance staff, the double locking is provided by an inverted lever, such is that used by Girard Perregaux for his three parallel gold bridge movement. This movement appears to have the same ébauche as the previous lot.
