C. Three body, oignon, with glazed back, the bezels chased with scroll decoration on a matted ground. D. Gold champleve with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring, the centre pierced and engraved with scrolls and a cartouche for the signature, with applied blued-steel plate visible behind and date aperture below. Blued-steel hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate the Egyptian pillars with chased decoration, pierced and engraved silver chain guard and stop-arm bracket for the fusee with chain, verge escapement, blued-steel three-arm balance, flat balance spring, the cock set with a full size enamel plaque, finely painted with the portrait of a lady over a black ground in the manner of the Huaud brothers, a garnet set mock pendulum, fixed on the balance arm, oscillating within a semi-circular aperture below the cock, to one side of which is the silver regulator disk, the other with apparently matching disk which is the off-set winding square. C. Rectangular, entirely gilt-metal clad over a wooden carcass, with moulded base on turned feet, glazed sides and hinged front door with acanthus leaf decoration on the border. Detachable gilt-metal pediment surmounted by an urn. D. Punch matted gilt bronze dial plate, the applied chased dial with Roman numerals on enamel cartouches and engraved outer Arabic minute ring the centre chased with scroll decoration. Blued steel "poker and beetle" hands. An applied enamel cartouche for the signature on a gilt bronze plate chased with foliage decoration below. M. Brass rectangular with turned pillars, going barrel, anchor escapement of Thiout's pattern, short pendulum with silk suspension adjustable through the dial. C. Shaped, veneered with ebony framed red tortoise-shell and inlaid with brass stringing in a geometrical pattern. Very fine applied ormolu rocaille decoration with further leaf and floral ornaments. D. Silvered chapter-ring with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring, inner subsidiary seconds and leap year cycle aperture. Gilt brass dial-plate, engraved with a decoration in a geometrical pattern and a small landscape with with houses and windmill, applied with a silvered half moon sector for the perpetual calendar, inner moon-phase aperture with moon calendar on the border. Subsidiary apertures for hours and minutes of stl-rise, on the left with outer indication of the sun in the Zodiac, and of sun-set on the right, with outer annual calendar. Bluedsteel hands and gilt brass equation hand. M. Brass rectangular weight-driven movement with turned conical pillars, Graham dead-beat escapement with steel pallets, seconds beating pendulum with spring blade suspension. Springdriven independent hour and quarter striking trains with going barrels and count-wheels on the back plate. Calendar work below the movement with equation kidney on the back.
