Gilt brass full plate with turned pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement with plain three-arm polished steel balance, flat balance spring, silver regulator scale. Fruitwood with elaborately carved roccoco scroll work plinth on four feet mounted with chinera, the sides panelled in reserve, the front with drawers and carved in high relief with three panels, the lover with Marie Medicis paying her astrologer, on the door a group in a salon playing "trie-trac", above, a similar interior with a musical scene, further carved decoration and a horn devil mask on the shallow arched hood. D. Gilt bronze with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring on enamel cartouches, white enamel centre plate. Brass pierced hands. Cast bronze fret chased with a sun, birds and scrolls. M. Three train posted frame, the going train with verge escapement. hldependent striking trains for hours and quarters. Striking on three bells. Signed below the dial. Height : 275 cm. Double body, Louis XV, chased with radiant sun-beams and further rocaille decoration, the back with a date aperture and a winding aperture with a shutter linked to a click-work in such a way that the date advances automatically each time the winding shutter is opened, by means of a small boit, to insert the key. Gilt brass protecting case latterly covered with green lizard skin. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring (hair lines), central revolving equation disc and aperture between "I" and "II" for the annual calendar. Gold Louis XV hands, the equation end of the minute hand set with a rosediamond set sun. Blued-steel counterpoised centre-seconds hand. M. Hinged, gilt brass full plate with baluster pillars, cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with garnet end-stone. Extremely fine and unique, 20 ct. gold and enamel, dumb quarter-repeating, Montre à secondes qui va huit jours sans remonter, dont le régulateur est formé par deux balanciers qui font un battement à chaque seconde, constructed on the principle, described in Ferdinand Berthoud: Essai sur l'Horlogerie, published in 1786, pages 216 to 221, plate No. XXVII, fig. 6-7-8-9 and 10, the enamel painted by Hamelin.

C. Double body, Louis XV, the bezels with enamelled floral decoration, the back with a finely painted urn of flowers signed Hamelin, (slightly restored). D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring and subsidiary seconds. Gold Louis XV hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, large brass wheel cylinder escapement with two plain polished steel balances geared together, single flat balance spring, large single gilt brass continental cock with a polished steel end-piece for each balance. Repeating on the case with a single polished steel hammer, the complete repeating mechanism (repeating work and wheel train), set between the dial and the front plate. Small eccentric silver chapter with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring, silver Arabic seconds chapter ring on the border of the bezel.
