Backes and Strauss Backes and Strauss, founded in 1789 and the world?s oldest diamond company, is excited to unveil the Victoria Princess Red Heart watch as our contribution to help the AMM Association. The inspiration behind this opulent piece is a 19th century brooch, drawn from the company?s archives, and consisting of two diamond encrusted, linked hearts. These interlocking hearts are now the focal point of the Victoria Princess Red Heart and have been repeated again and again in a circle seen to symbolize everlasting love, life and friendship. A delicate sprinkling of rubies intersperse Backes and Strauss? trademark ?Ideal Cut? diamonds. These rubies have been carefully selected, not only due to their association with love and passion, but because they are said to represent vitality, energy and health, all of which are qualities that are integral to this charitable event. This watch is being auctioned in the knowledge that it will be perceived as a symbol of love for the woman who wears it, but also as a representation of hope for those that are being supported by this wonderful cause. This piece has been exclusively created with rubies for Only Watch.

Bell & Ross The story of Bell & Ross began at the end of the 20th century, when the French watchmaking firm approached a German company that specialized in aeronautical onboard instrument manufacturing. In its la Chaux-de-Fonds workshops in Switzerland, Bell & Ross perpetuates the Swiss art of luxury watchmaking ensuring compliance with age-old traditions. Bell & Ross? timepieces are meticulously inspected at every stage of their creation and bear the mark ?Swiss Made?, a symbol of unrivalled excellence around the world. For Only Watch 2013, Bell & Ross has designed a collector?s box of six unique watches. This lavish case fashioned from high-quality wood contains six watches: the BR01 HORIZON, ALTIMETER and TURN COORDINATOR, created in 2012, and the BR01 HEADING INDICATOR, AIRSPEED and CLIMB, created in 2013. They are all inspired by instruments that are essential to aeronautical navigation and have, as their common and unique denominator, a touch of orange. Orange is the ultimate color for aeronautical instrumentation due to its high level of legibility and capacity to make important information stand out through contrast. It is also a traditional color for Bell & Ross, which has used it on timepieces for the same reasons. This exclusive box is designed to be a dashboard on which the vital instruments are laid out in a T for optimum legibility. It will give its possessor the impression of owning a piece of an aircraft cockpit.

CHANEL CHANEL?s approach to watchmaking relies on intangible stylistic codes originally set down by Mademoiselle?s universe. They are at the heart of its profound identity involving simplicity of forms, rigor of colors, and innovation of materials. The Première, first watch created by CHANEL in 1987 is an example of this exceptional creativity. Its shape was inspired by the octagonal geometry of the Place Vendôme and echoed in the No.5 perfume bottle stopper. In 2012, on the occasion of its 25th anniversary, CHANEL created the Première Flying Tourbillon to offer women the opportunity to enter into the realm of high mechanical complications. This exceptional Tourbillon volant has been developed in close collaboration between CHANEL and the Swiss manufacturers, engineers and master-watchmakers Renaud & Papi (APRP SA) - the advanced research and development branch of Audemars Piguet. Last year, for the first time, CHANEL Watches has been rewarded during the 12th ceremony of the Grand Prix d?Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG), with the Première Flying Tourbillon watch, elected best in the ?Ladies watch? prize category. High feminine complication, this flying tourbillon decorated with the motif of the camellia, a tribute to Mademoiselle Chanel?s favorite flower, beats away discreetly and almost secretly at the heart of the Première watch. Having no upper bridge, the carriage decorated with a camellia appears to be rotating in a weightless state. Unique edition in 18-carat white gold set with 169 diamonds (~2.20 carats) with a black high-tech ceramic bezel exclusively created for Only Watch.

Chopard Manufacture Louis-Ulysse Chopard would doubtless be delighted to see how his company has developed. Celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2010, the firm is still pervaded by the spirit instilled in it by its founder and nurtured by a blend of fine hand craftsmanship and daring technical developments. From the founding family to that of Karl Scheufele which took it over in 1963, Chopard continues to be governed by its enduring principles, including a taste for excellence, the pursuit of quality, creativity, innovation, independence, and fundamental human respect. Founded in 1996, Chopard Manufacture, the Haute Horlogerie entity of Chopard, results from the unswerving determination of Karl-Friedrich Scheufele who became convinced at an early date that the company should make its own watch movements. Years of relentless effort have resulted in the L.U.C calibre collection. These three initials representing a tribute to the brand founder Louis-Ulysse Chopard are conferred on a series of exceptional movements. Within a few years, 10 base calibres and more than 60 versions were designed and produced, representing a substantial achievement for such a young manufacture. For Only Watch 2013, Chopard created L.U.C Tourbillon Only Watch 2013 Edition. The one of a kind platinum tourbillon features an exclusive handengraved dial and movement and is equipped with the 9-day power-reserve L.U.C Calibre 02.17-L. Ref. 161929-9001.

Christophe Claret ?For over 20 years, the Claret Manufacture has been designing, developing and producing highly complicated watch movements for the most prestigious brands. However, it was not until 2009 and the launch of the extraordinary DualTow that the public at large finally discovered the talent of this exceptional watchmaker. The Christophe Claret brand now belongs to the exclusive circle of independent watch manufacturers capable of mastering the entire production process of Haute Horlogerie watches ? from the original idea through to final adjustments. The Christophe Claret collection comprises three lines, each one encompassing superlative horological expertise: The Traditional Complications line, composed of unique pieces, such as Adagio, Soprano and Kantharos; the Extreme Watches line, including DualTow and X-TREM 1; and finally the Interactive Casino Game Watches line, featuring the 21 Blackjack and Baccara models.? For Only Watch 2013 Christophe Claret created the X-TREM-1 Pinball, a flying tourbillon watch equipped with a retrograde hours and minutes display system that is radically different from existing watchmaking conventions. Two tiny metal balls, isolated within grilled sapphire tubes on the left and right sides of the caseband magically move with no mechanical connection thanks to magnetic fields.

CYRUS In a market dominated by automatic watches, CYRUS has dared to launch a timepiece - in titanium - with manual double barrel winding and a seven-day power reserve. The movement is a 100% in-house manufacture movement (290 components, 50 rubies), created under the aegis of renowned, award-winning Swiss watchmaker Jean-François Mojon. This collection is the fruit of the partnership between the two founders, Julien and Laurent LECAMP. The selection of functions, the manual movement, the design features and the unusual bracelet were all created and developed within the family, with the utmost respect for the CYRUS philosophy. The distinctive mark of the two cousins can be found discreetly inscribed on the back of the calibre. Four digits, 7778 are etched, recalling the cousins? two birth dates. The patented power reserve (between 2 and 4 O?clock) will captivate you with its three barrels sliding progressively along a vertical axis as the seven days unfold...Each barrel has a power reserve of two days, apart from the final barrel (three days). The seconds function is truly original and technically advanced, with its three angled hands (red colour), each of which counts 20 seconds before passing the baton to the next hand. Then there is the secret animation (between 9 and 12 O?clock), which is activated by simply pressing the crown at 9 O?clock. The text ?pièce unique? then appears. Press it again, and ?the flagship of Monaco? appears to replace the previous inscription. Press one last time and...the CYRUS logo will be there. The CYRUS KAMBYS ONLY WATCH is the very first timepiece of the KAMBYS collection that will be also officially launched on September 28th in Monaco. A very exclusive timepiece dedicated to a very unique event.

Jaquet Droz Since 1738, Jaquet Droz has perpetuated the spirit of innovation and aesthetic refinement of its founder, Pierre Jaquet-Droz. With his son Henri-Louis, this brilliant inventor was the first to establish his manufacture in Geneva, before touring the courts of Europe to present his breathtaking handwork, exquisitely decorated humanoid automata and singing watches, and exporting his pieces across the globe, in particular to China. Today, the brand reaffirms its involvement to Only Watch with its newest edition, offering a unique piece: The Loving Butterfly. This is a historical design drawn by one of the legendary automata produced by Pierre Jaquet-Droz in the 18th century. The cherub is an emblem of the Italian Renaissance and Baroque periods, while the butterfly serves as a universal symbol of beauty, lightness and freedom. The palace of Monaco is represented in the background painted tone on tone, endowing the scene with a certain realism. The Loving Butterfly is an echo of the values defended by Jaquet Droz: the right to innocence, the power of the imagination as well as confidence in one?s own dreams. The Loving Butterfly merges the expertise of the most skilled master artisans at Jaquet Droz: sculpting, engraving, miniature painting and - for the very first time - cloisonné enameling lend an unprecedented depth to the Grand Feu enamel dial for an exceptional timepiece evoking the amazement of the Enlightenment.

julien Coudray 1518 ?Cultivate the crafts and technical feats? would be a fitting slogan for JULIEN COUDRAY 1518, whose pure and authentic timepieces mirror the passion of the people managed by Fabien Lamarche. Based in the heart of the Neuchatel watchmaking country, the Manufacture consciously sets out to be a melting pot of passions and astounding know-how in the constant quest for technical and aesthetic perfection; creating a magic formula sought after by epicureans and watchmaking art lovers! There is nothing to rival precious metals for standing the test of time. Perhaps because watchmakers, more than anyone else, have a firm grasp of the passage of time and a love of precision, the Manufacture has chosen to work only with materials that will survive the centuries, and whose durability will maintain the precision of the watch. Whether for visible or invisible parts, solid gold and platinum, plus traditional grand feu enamelling, are the main materials adopted for making the movement, case, dial and buckle of the watches, which therefore become inalterable. As its name indicates, this unique piece draws its inspiration from the interpretation of the theme ?Draw me a happy child? by a 5-year old schoolchild in Switzerland, in the Le Locle district. In support of the Monaco Association Against Myopathy, julien Coudray 1518 will approach children from other countries in the same way, to create other unique pieces on the same theme.
