Important rectangular, double body, ivory diptych sundial. Lunar calendar with inner equatorial dial engraved on the upper outer face, with a central revolving dial at the center for the nocturnal hours, divided twice from 1 to12 and moon phase aperture. Altimetric vertical dial inside the top cover, calculated for one latitude only. Horizontal dial with a compass and vesperal hour scale on the tower inner face. The outside engraved with the signature and the inscription: " Wenich campast recht sol weisen so richt mich nicht nahe weisen" In good condition. Dim. 60 x 48 mm.

Very rare double body horizontal sundial in form of a mandolin. The upper outer face engraved with two figures. Time scales within the top cover, calculated for three latitudes with further floral engraved decoration. Horizontal dial with a compass on the lower inner face, the outer face with engraved sectors and heads of ladies. In good condition. Dim. 75 x 20 mm

Important rectangular, magnetic, double body, ivory sundial. Complete in a leather fitted box. The equatorial dial is engraved on the upper inner face, with concentric revolving dial for the conversions, annual calendar and moon phase, nocturnal hour chapter ring graduated twice from 1 to 12, outer latitude ring. Analemmatic elyptical dial on the lower inner face, adjustable by means of a sliding pointer on the scale of the calendar set on the rear face of the tower part. When pointed toward the sun, the right time is geaven by the hand of the compass, when the calendar is turned in such a way, the index points to the date. The indications given by this sundial do not take into consideration the magnetic declination. In very good condition. Dim. 87 x 75 mm.

Planitary dial inside the top cover with doble time scale for the altimetric vertical dial, signature and date.
