"Minute-Repeater" Huguenin-Breguet, Swiss, No. 135050. Made for the American market, circa 1920. Fine, minute-repeating, 14K gold, keyless pocket watch.
C. Four-body, "demi-bassine", solid, polished. Hinged gold cuvette with engraved dedication. D. White enamel with dauphine numerals, outer minute track, red painted Arabic fiveminute numerals, subsidiary seconds dial. Gold ?Louis XV? hands. M. Cal. 17''', rhodium-plated, "fausses-côtes" decoration, 16 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with four adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, ?swan neck? micrometer regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial signed Huguenin-Breguet, case signed Wittnauer & Co. Diam. 47 mm.
