C. Four-body, ?bassine?, polished, the back cover decorated with a royal blue translucent enamel monogram, bolt at 11 to lock the chronograph. Dedicated hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with radial dauphine numerals, outer minute track and concentric fifths of a second divisions, red Arabic five minute/seconds numerals, subsidiary seconds. Gold ?Louis XVI? hands. M. 42 mm., 19???, rhodium-plated, ?fausses côtes? decoration, 35 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator, chronograph button in the crown, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed. Diam. 49 mm.
