Ref. 1625, Yellow Gold, So-Called "Thunderbird" Rolex, "Oyster Perpetual, Datejust, Superlative Chronometer, Officially Certified", Ref. 1625, (case No. partially illegible). Made circa 1970. Fine and rare, center seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with date.
C. Three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down back and
crown, revolving bi-directional reeded and graduated 18K
yellow gold bezel embossed with Arabic numerals in relief for
60-minute graduation, crystal with Cyclops lens. D. Chocolate
with applied yellow gold dart indexes and luminous dots, aperture
for the date. Luminous yellow gold "dauphine" hands.
M. Cal. 1560, 26 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic
balance adjusted to 5 positions and temperature, shock
absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, Microstella
regulating screws.
Dial, case and movement signed.
