Jaeger-LeCoultre, "Atmos" Borne. Made circa 1960. Fine, dome-shaped, gilt brass and plexiglass Atmos clock wound by barometric pressure changes.

C. Gilt brass, polished and brushed, the center of the case covered with red leather, stepped plinth base with canted corners, the back with engraved presentation inscription, spirit level and leveling screws adjusted on the sides, pendulum locking device in the base. D. Matte silvered, black painted scroll pattern, applied gilt brass baton and faceted dart indexes, aperture for viewing the pendulum. Gilt brass dauphine hands that can be adjusted from the front. M. Cal. 528-6, gilt brass, vacuum chamber winding the going barrel, lever escapement driven by annular tension pendulum, locking lever in the base, regulator at the back. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. Height 21 cm., width 17.7 cm., depth 11 cm.

Les Danceurs ? Automaton Musical Cabinet Mermod Frères, Sainte-Croix, Swiss. Made circa 1900 for the American market, U.S.A. patent September 25th, 1894. Very fine and very rare, ?penny in the slot?, illuminated musical cabinet playing 10 airs in succession and with six automaton dancing dolls.

C. Rectangular, hinged and glazed front door with pierced sound fret and flanked by ebonised pillasters, coin slot to the upper right, side with pierced sound frets, broken-arch cresting with acorn finials, molded base, the interior with drawer for coin collection, tune sheet insdie right. M. 60 x 17 cm, large cast bed inscribed ?U.S.A. patent, Sept 25th, 1894?, massive going barrel wound by a crank handle, fly governor with slow/fast adjustment, 35 cm pinned cylinder playing 10 tunes in succession on 77 tuned steel teeth in a single comb, six automaton dolls, three within mirrored recesses at the back and three to the foreground, all jumping and spinning with articulated legs when the music is played. Dim. 36 x 68 x 39 cm.

White enamel with radial blue Roman numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 90 mm., circular, three-spring barrels for the going, striking and quarter trains, anchor escapement, silk suspension, brass bob pendulum, striking with three hammers on two bells, strikework on the backplate in the Neuchatel manner. Two-piece, white enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, recessed center with apertures for winding, visible Brocot escapement with jewelled pallets, regulation arbour above 12. Steel Breguet hands. Dial below for the perpetual calendar, two-piece white and painted enamel, outer ring for the four-year leap-year cycle, the center with subsidiary dials for the date, days of the week and the months, aperture for the moon phases.
